Resume Deli was founded by Tim Haft (MA, sociology; author of Trashproof Resumes, Job Notes: Resumes, and co-author of Job Smart), Joseph Terach (MA, counseling; career counselor, educator, and published writer), and Alex Twersky (BS, marketing; marketing consultant, published writer, and filmmaker).
Joseph Terach (CEO) has a wealth of experience as a career counselor and education advisor, and has presented numerous workshops on resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, networking, and online learning and career advisement. Josephs advice has been featured in The New York Times and Newsday, and he has had articles published in Money Magazine and Tech News. He is also the co-author of Cranes Guide to Writing an Effective Resume (Crane & Company, Inc., 2002). Joseph holds an MA in counseling and a BA in psychology and English, both from New York University. Tim Haft (VP of Content) is the author of Trashproof Resumes (Random House, 1995) and Job Notes: Resumes (Random House, 1997) and co-author of Cranes Guide to Writing an Effective Resume (Crane & Company, Inc., 2002) and Job Smart (Random House, 1997). Tim served as a career counselor at New York University between 1988 and 1995 where he designed and delivered workshops on resume writing, job search, career decision-making, and interviewing. Tim also has substantial experience in book publishing, new media, fitness, and criminal justice. Tim holds an MA in sociology from New York University and a BA in history from the University of Virginia. Alex Twersky (VP of Marketing) is a co-founder and partner at Kinetic Arts, a New York-based independent film and commercial production company. Alexs career has spanned numerous industries and companies, including Scholastic, a $2 billion childrens media company. Alex has worked in international marketing, business development, consulting, content development, licensing, and film production. The author of Random Houses Instant Scholar guides to Art and Literature and co-author of Cranes Guide to Writing an Effective Resume (Crane & Company, Inc., 2002), Alex received his BS in marketing and international business from New York Universitys Stern School of Business. Dr. Michelle Tullier (Special Advisor) has worked in the field of career development since 1985. She is currently a senior career management consultant at Right Management Consultants. Previously, Michelle served as a career counselor at Barnard College and New York University, and as a career expert on Monster.com. For several years, she taught career advisement and assessment methodology at New York University. Michelle is the author of six books, including The Unofficial Guide to Acing the Interview (Wiley); The Complete Idiot's Guide to Overcoming Procrastination (Simon & Schuster/Alpha); and Work Smart: 250 Smart Moves Your Boss Already Knows (The Princeton Review). Michelles advice has been featured on TV and radio as well as in Fortune, The New York Times, National Business Employment Weekly, Glamour, and many other publications. Michelle holds a PhD in counseling psychology from UCLA and a BA in psychology from Wellesley College. Pedro Canahuati (CTO) served as a technical/business consultant for In-sync Corporation; director of operations for Relera, and director of customer engineering at Verio, Inc., where he managed East Coast customer installations. He has also served as a network engineer for Internet Interstate. Recently featured in Time Magazine (October 7, 2002), Pedro studied computer science at the University of Maryland. James Loree (CFO) has more than 20 years of finance experience and currently maintains a consulting practice that specializes in business valuation. Previously, Jim held a variety of positions with Dun & Bradstreet, was the assistant VP and international controller for Moodys Investors Service, and the manager of financial systems at A.C. Nielsen. He began his career as a financial analyst for Ford. Jim holds an MBA in finance and international business from New York University and a BS in biology from McGill University.
