Blythe Grossberg, formerly a career counselor at Rutgers University, has also served as a business consultant and corporate trainer. Before receiving her MA in organizational psychology from Rutgers, she worked on the editorial staffs of Scribner, the New Yorker, and Frommer's travel guides. She has written for several magazines and travel guides, including Travel and Leisure Family, Boston Magazine, and Let's Go: Rome. Blythe graduated from Harvard with a BA in history and literature. Tim Haft (VP, Content) is the author of Trashproof Resumes (Random House, 1995) and Job Notes: Resumes (Random House, 1997); and co-author of Crane’s Guide to Writing an Effective Resume (Crane & Company, Inc., 2002) and Job Smart (Random House, 1997). Tim served as a career counselor at New York University between 1988 and 1995 where he designed and delivered workshops on resume writing, job search, career decision-making, and interviewing. He also has substantial experience in book publishing and new media. Tim holds an MA in sociology from New York University and a BA in history from the University of Virginia Judy Smyer is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and member of the CPRW Certification Committee for the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches (PARWCC). She is a senior career-management consultant who has provided consulting and management services to a national resume service, two world-leading human resources consulting firms and an industry leader in spousal-relocation consulting. She has delivered individual and group career-management programs and prepared professional resumes for clients from diverse cultures, at all professional and functional levels. Judy studied Liberal Arts at Montclair State College and received certification as a Career Development Facilitator at Florida Atlantic University. She is a member of PARWCC and the Association of Career Professionals International. Angie Temming serves as the sole MBA Career Counselor at St. John’s University in New York City where she designed and administers a comprehensive MBA career development program that includes a series of workshops and networking “galas”. She also delivers seminars and advises MBA students and alumni on resume and cover letter writing, job search strategies, interviewing, and salary negotiation. An adjunct professor at St. John’s University, Angie teaches Career Management to first-years. Moreover, Angie is a career coach for Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a non-profit organization committed to preparing high-achieving minority students for a career in business as well as admission to top MBA programs. Prior to relocating to New York City, Angie worked in Chicago at an investor relations firm where she edited news releases for public companies. In her spare time, Angie instructs fitness classes at New York Sports Club. She holds an MA in higher education administration from New York University and a BA in political science and nutrition from Miami University of Ohio. Joseph Terach (CEO and Senior Resume Consultant) has a wealth of experience as a career consultant and education advisor, and has designed and presented numerous workshops on resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, networking, and job search strategies for business students at New York University and MBAs at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. His advice on resume development has been featured on prominent websites including Monster and Medzilla. Joseph is a published writer and a nationally recognized expert on resume development. His media credits include The CBS Early Show, ABC Eyewitness News, The New York Times, and New York Newsday. He is also the co-author of Crane’s Guide to Writing an Effective Resume (Crane & Company, Inc., 2002). Joseph holds an MA in counseling and a BA in psychology and English, both from New York University. Alex Twersky (VP, Marketing) acquired much of his expertise in international marketing, business development, consulting, content development, and licensing at Scholastic, a $2 billion education/media company. Alex is the author of Random House’s Instant Scholar guides to Art and Literature and co-author of Crane’s Guide to Writing an Effective Resume (Crane & Company, Inc., 2002). He received his BS in marketing and international business from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Kathy Woughter is the Director of the Career Development Center at Alfred University in New York, where she provides career counseling and manages employment services. Kathy has an MS in counseling from Alfred and a BS in biology and secondary education from Geneseo State University. She is active in the Rochester Area Career Development Association and the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers. Kathy has given career presentations across the country, and recently won the Philip J. Brockway Award for Innovation for her work in web-based marketing for career centers. In her spare time, Kathy is trying to become a "46-er" and climb all 46 high peaks in the Adirondacks region of New York!
